New Year, New You! Really?

We all start out with the best of intentions creating New Year resolutions and goals only to realize months later we fall short attaining them. 3 proven methods on how to get out of your own way.

1. “BE”. When we take the time to be in the moment not thinking of the past or worrying about the future, we open a space in our minds for new thoughts and ideas to enter. Yes meditate! Start small 2-5 minutes and build from there. It really is the only way for us to connect to our true self, without the ego running the show. Be open, pay attention, listen to the voice in our head and take action.

2. Find a coach to help stay focused and shift limiting beliefs. It’s challenging to get to the root of what stops us from attaining our goals because we are too close to the problem. A coach can point out the language we use and help bring to light the limiting beliefs coming from the subconscious mind that are sabotaging success. They bring awareness to things we are not aware of.

3. Inspired action is what fuels all greatness. When we feel passionate about what we want to accomplish then we achieve it. Without inspiration and passion behind the action it’s challenging to go the distance and bring it to life. The level of passion we have for our resolutions can be used as an indicator as to whether we will fall short or be able to check them off our list permanently.
